I bet Tom Hanks was 'stick' of all the peg leg jokes
My overall rating: 95/100
A movie directed by Paul Greengrass, Captain Phillips is a thriller/drama based on real events that happened on April 2009. Captain Phillips (acted by Tom Hanks) gets on his new ship and it ends up getting hijacked by somali pirates. (The pirate captain acted by Barkhad Abdi. And the rest of the pirate crew was acted by; Barkhad Abdirahman, Faysal Ahmed, and Mahat M. Ali) They call for US military help to assist in the pirate attack. A theme I think goes well with the story is; "To be smarter than the fox" because Tom hanks had to deceive the pirates and “play games” with them and to set up traps and acted under their noses. I think the people who would be most interested in this movie is people who are into thrillers and dramas and isn’t afraid of blood. I think this because the movie, if you look it up, is a “Thriller/Drama” and in the movie, the blood isn’t light, it's not a little cut, it’s gushing, dark red blood and also a massive blood splash/splatter. It’s very disgusting and if you aren’t ready for that then I don’t think you should watch this movie. I really enjoyed watching this movie. It had great action and plot and build up that it all together created an amazing movie. And the acting made it seem so real and made me feel like I was actually there, witnessing this live. I’m glad they chose Tom Hanks to portray Captain Phillips, He looks like him and plays his part very well. I also love the pick for the somali pirates. They acted like the part so well, and the broken english was so believable that i actually think that they have broken english normaly. And after watching this movie, I recommended it to multiple friends, and watched it many more times. Loving it every time. It "kept me at the tip of my toes" and it had an amazing ending. And it went by what really happened (based on what i got from researching) unlike most movies. The movie had an excellent build up. It really really made the conflict pop and made me want to know how it was resolved. Tom Hands And the actors for the pirates really told the story by making it feel like it was real. Hitting each other, tricking each other, manipulating each other. It made it feel so real. All of them working together to make the story feel real was amazing. It really increased the realism.

Sanctuary cities is a common term for jurisdictions that decline to assist federal immigration enforcement. I think it is good, because immigrants should have more places to be checked, so that the lines wont be so long. It is being enforced by campus police departments and certain local governmental entities of state and federal laws governing immigration and to related duties and liability of certain persons of criminal justice system; providing a civil penalty; creating a criminal offense. The amendment was defeated in a 90-52 vote. I think we will lose some students at our school who are subjected to this bill.

In my opinion, I think the reason why we aren't getting along with Russia right now is because of the tomahawk missiles we launched. I think the worst thing Russia can do is declare war. A lesser thing is cutting ties with america. Well, If we do go to war, who knows what will happen to america, maybe we get bombed. Hopefully not though.

6. In La La Land the "City of Angels" is reimagined through the glorious sheen of the late 40s/early 50s Hollywood musical. For examples, watch An American in Paris, Singin' in the Rain, or The Band Wagon to see what I mean. What makes Chazelle's 3rd feature so incredible is how brilliantly he understand how to reference history. He skillfully recontextualizes the vernacular of the American musical for the modern age. The exquisite score by Justin Hurwitz, elaborate production design by David Wasco, those costumes by Mary Zophres, the Technicolor, the romance - La La Land's aesthetic borrows from history but the time period and the characters are rooted firmly in contemporary society. 2016 is all here: cell phones, Hybrid vehicles, the part-time job as a barista. Chazelle makes our present era seem so much more magical. There is an exuberant quality I haven't seen recently. Mia and Sebastian radiate sweetness too. This uncorrupted pair shares a purity. You want them to be together. Their emotion is real. You fall in love. This why we go to the cinema. If I may paraphrase a famous expression once said by Humphrey Bogart, La La Land is the stuff that [movies] are made of. It is sublime.

Ian McKellen gives an outstanding performance. Ejijah Wood is wonderful. Sean Astin is terrific. Viggo Mortensen, Orlando Bloom, Sean Bean and Johnathan Rhys-Davies are magnificent. The cast is truly fantastic. A thrilling, funny and deeply moving movie experience that truly blows you away. A feast for the eyes and ears that truly captivates you from the first to very last shot. The special effects are as superb as the storytelling. A triumphant classic for all times.

I see rule of thirds and some lines
The cheerleaders where the main subject.
It was properly exposed
I see depth of field
Rider of her life - B1
I liked how they stopped the movement of the horse. And they also got the dust flying behind. The lighting could be slightly better because the face of the girl is a bit dark
I see lines
The horse/rider is the subject

I would like to be the photographer for the yoyo story because i find it cool to stop something so fast in a photo.
If i had to rate the photos in this issue it would be a 9/10. I don't like the drawings. They look like a 7-year-old drew them ((sorry for being so critical)) and i didn't like the staged photos like the horse one. Everything else was great

Photo Manipulation and Ethics
A. Be careful about what you edit. And if you edit something without disclosure you could face extreme consequences. Most photos will have been edited. And all of them are changes to the actual image.
B. They have strict guidelines on how to take photos and editing. The Charlotte Observer’s photo policy states, “No colors will be altered from the original scene photographed”
C. I believe being able to crop an image should be the only correction that is 100% acceptable. Correcting the brightness and such is ok but i don't think i should be use often. If they want properly colorized photos, they should make sure they do that in the camera first.
D. I think the most unethical type of manipulation is actually removing or adding something on an image. I think its bad because you're actually changing the pixels of the photo. You loss sense of the original photo if you do that.
E. I think changing the coloring dramatically is what i think is the least unethical. I don't this is that bad of a change but you do loss what the original photo is. If you set the photo as a colored photo but then change it to a black and white photo it's not the same photo anymore.

LONG ANSWER RESPONCE
The Corps is involved in approving the pipeline because it s manages the Missouri River and its system of hydroelectric dams, which is owned by the federal government. Donald trump signed an executive order telling the Corps to quickly reconsider Darcy’s decision. The project is 3.8 billion dollars. The Standing Rock Sioux tribe are going to challenge it because they fear the water will pollute its drinking water. The Standing Rock Sioux next step is to urge "emergency action." I think that if the pipeline will help our country and not pollute, then it should be completed. And I can't think of any other alternatives

The Senate 4 bill boosts penalties against offending local governments and to extend its requirements to university police departments. The bill seeks to dismantle policies that prohibit or discourage police, jail personnel and other officials from inquiring about the immigration status of anybody who has been arrested or detained. Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO - what are they?
- The pupil
- Finish this sentence - the smaller the Aperture _The less light that is let in_, the higher the Aperture _the more light that is let in_.
- Aperture changes the depth of field by sharpening a part of the image and blurring out the other.
In the first scenario, I would use Fast Shutter Speed.
In the second scenario, I would use Slow shutter Speed.
Auto, Shutter Priority, Manual
- To get Ultra Fast Shots
- you should always try to stick to the lowest ISO (base ISO) of your camera, which is typically ISO 100 or 200, whenever possible. When there is plenty of light, you should always use the lowest ISO, to retain the most detail and to have the highest image quality.
- You should increase the ISO when there is not enough light for the camera to be able to quickly capture an image.

I haven't been keeping up with the reaction of the election but I've seen videos of protests and rallies. I could care little about Trump. He (hopefully) isn't going to impact my life. So why bother. My father has been pissed off about the election. He has been using Trump as an excuse for others bad behaviour.

Welcome Back!
1)This is a really cool and exciting image and gives me a feeling of "aw"
2) Even though parts if it is blurry it still looks really cool and funny
3)This photo is really cute and really cool. I'm sure that if i had a cat, my cat would just jump off.
PART 2
1. I don't listen to music so i wouldn't know what song would be the best.
2. "Fantastic Beasts and where to find them" is a amazing movie with amazing acting and amazing visuals. I also chose this movie because this is the only move I watched in 2016.
3.The USA 2016 Presidential Election was the best "stories" because there were many controversy between the 2 final candidates and many protests against both the candidates. But mostly against Donald Trump.
4. (This was great for me) The 2016 League of Legends World Finals. It was amazing for me because SKT1 got their 3rd win during League of Legends Season 6 finals. It was a close match against another team whom have only won one final tournament.
